Basalt is the earth’s most common lava rock. Weather and wind give the black rock yellow-brown, reddish-brown or greenish colors. Under the earth’s crust, basalt occurs as lava, but when the lava solidifies it forms geometric formations, hexagons. We have taken this hexagonal shape and made it part of our logo.
The green cube in our hexagon symbolizes olivine, a mineral found in basalt. As long as the olivine is protected from the elements, it retains its beautiful green color.
We see the hexagon as a symbol of our business, effectively protecting the olivine – our customers’ information against external and internal threats.
